I had a great visit with my dealer Deborah today. Was so happy to see her excitement for my new series of work. The first large paintings I have made in five years. It was just what I needed. I will be building off of today. Can hardly wait to start more and more paintings. I have so many ideas all waiting to get out. What a great feeling that is.

River Run. New Dowsing Rod Prints By Curtis Cutshaw

Bridge is a new print released by Curtis Cutshaw. It was made during the flood that hit Calgary in 2013.
During the flood I went out into the city and made drawings using the river run. While the city was in complete devastation I drew and worked embracing the water I had used to make so many drawings. This is the first in a series of drawings made during and worked on into the summer and fall. It is an edition of nine with one artist proof.

With Fall firmly set in place I am sitting down to start a new series of paintings. I have never worked as I am now and I am excited by the very different approach and outcome of the new work. Stay tuned. This is getting interesting!
